Cause

Peninsula Streams & Shorelines (PSS) is an environmental non-profit working across Greater Victoria to restore watersheds, advance environmental research and education, and support community stewardship.

Your participation directly supports PSS research and conservation for coastal cutthroat trout—an important indicator of healthy, connected aquatic ecosystems. By tagging trout and tracking their movements through Victoria and Sooke harbours, PSS is building critical knowledge about where these fish travel, which habitats they rely on, and how freshwater and coastal ecosystems are connected. This research will help guide future monitoring, habitat protection, and restoration across our region.
